Description: The DBTRG-O5MG (Denver Brain Tumor Research Group 05) cell line was established from tissue from a patient with glioblastoma multiforme who had been treated with local brain irradiation and multidrug chemotherapy; the cells are negative for platelet derived growth factor (PDGF), neuronal cell adhesion molecule (NCAM), glial fibrillary acid protein (GFAP) and class II antigen (HLA DR); no loss of heterozygosity in the p53 tumor suppressor gene was detected.
