Growth Property: Clusters in suspension
SubCulture Procedure: Addition or replacement of fresh medium; add medium as the cell density increases
Freezed Medium: 93% culture medium + 7% DMSO
Medium Renewal: every 2 to 3 days

Description: Derived from ascites of a patient with poorly differentiated carcinoma of the stomach; the patient had previously received chemotherapy including 5-fluorouracil, doxorubicin, and mitomycin C; the cells express the surface carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and TAG-72.There was no expression of the following genes: N-myc, L-myc, c-cis, IGF-2, or gastrin releasing peptide.
