Description: this is a trypsinized variant of LS 180 (see BCRC 60100) colon adenocarcinoma line; it is more easily subcultivated than that parent line and produce large amounts of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA); the cell line is positive for expression of c-myc, N-myc, H-ras, N-ras.Myb, and fos oncogenes.K-ras and sis oncogene expression were not detected.
